Pre- WWII the 92's and 94's used the same stocks, at least the 44-40 and 38-40 92's did. The 32-20 and 25-25 had smaller mag tube holes in the forewood. After WWII the 94 wood was changed. The difference was how the buttstock mated to the receiver. I got a Rossi 92 .357 stock from Boyd’s gunstocks for my Citadel LevTac, best choice I’ve ever made. There is a millimeter gap on either side where the stock meets the receiver, you won’t see it unless you’re looking for it; could probably be filed to fit better.
