Mar 25, 2019 · How can I sign into my MyQ account? Do I have a MyQ account for the Tesla Model 3? Anyway, MyQ customer support navigated me to set up MyQ for my Model 3. But MyQ did not exist anywhere on the Model 3 control panel. In the end, he said it is for the model year of 2021 or newer. He was not sure if the model year older than that is not supported. . I had already unlinked the MyQ account from my Model 3. Took a couple of tries for it to work but I did get the MyQ to load and work with the app on my phone. I then was able to link the account to the Tesla on the first try. Edit: Just to clarify, MyQ's 10 year service option is $300. Homelink costs $350 installed from Tesla and introduces physical hardware to the car. IMO those 2 prices are basically apples to apples (yes I know it is a service vs a hardware cost, but 10 years is a long time) I chose MyQ because it's just easier for a little less $..
