2024 Chevy malibu volume locked

The second time I had to reset the system. I went (on the truck) to settings-> System -> Reset options -> Restart in safe mode. In the on screen instructions it says to shut down engine, open door, close door, then wait 1 min at least (I waited 3 to 5). Started back up and it immediately started working right.. Sheehan dizon
