Baby decided July 14th was not good enough so we induced July 17th, got checked in at 3:00pm and baby was born July 18th at 10:25am.Dilation has progressed from last week. I chose to do cervical checks I know it doesn’t necessary indicate when birth is coming but I like to know. Last week at 36 weeks I was 1.5 cm 0% effaced and today at 37 weeks I’m 3 cm and 60% effaced so I do feel that is some progress.37 weeks and 3cm dilated. Just got done with my 37 week apt. Nevertheless, waiting 60 to 90 seconds to clamp the umbilical cord will give them a boost of extra blood, oxygen, iron, and stem cells.
